Pastor Yohance Perry is a dedicated, and tireless worker for the Lord. He was born and raised in Mt. Vernon, NY and has attended the First Seventh-Day Adventist Church of White Plains since birth. He attended Iona Grammer and Iona Prep School’s in New Rochelle, NY. There he cultivated his football skills, landing him 30 scholarship offers to Division One schools. He chose to attend Temple University in Philadelphia, PA on a full scholarship where he studied Marketing through the Fox School of Business.
In 2010, he began his work in the church serving as a deacon. In 2013, he was Ordained as a deacon, and in 2018 he was Ordained as an Elder. He has lead passionately with the youth department, and the Adventist Community Service department. Pastor Perry is a New York State professional Bail Bondsman, and is the owner of All Pro Bail Agency located in White Plains NY.
He also dedicates his time ministering to those who are incarcerated at the Westchester County Department of Corrections. There, he is the head Chaplain of the “Iron Sharpens Iron” Men’s Fellowship. Pastor Perry is volunteer Chaplain at the New York Presbyterian Hospital, where he visits patients in the psych ward, Critical Care, and Intensive Care Units. He is married to the beautiful Sherene Perry, and God has blessed them with their precious daughter, Amber Perry.
Pastor Perry enjoys outreach in the community, and has organized several toy drives, and food drives for local homeless shelters over the years. In November of 2019, he was asked to start a new church plant in Danbury Connecticut with the Northeastern Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists, where he served as the First Elder. Pastor Perry was part of the 2020 Oakwood University graduating class, where his degree focus was in Church Leadership. Pastor Perry has completed two units of Clinical Pastoral Education with CPE International. On March 20, 2022, Pastor Perry was voted, and assigned to be the Pastor of the Mt. Olive SDA Church in New London CT by the NEC Executive Committee.
